New Patients at Eastgate Chiropractic
Visiting a new chiropractor shouldn’t feel rushed or complicated. At Eastgate Chiropractic, we set aside time to hear what’s been bothering you, understand how it’s affecting your everyday life and explain what we find along the way.
Wear loose-fitting clothing and allow up to 30 minutes for your first appointment. When you arrive, our friendly team will welcome you and ask you to complete a health history form before meeting with Dr Simon Parker (Chiropractor).
What to Expect at Your First Appointment
Your consultation begins with a conversation. Dr Parker will ask about your current concerns, health history and how the problem may be affecting you at work, at home or during the activities you enjoy.
He’ll then conduct an examination based on your individual presentation. You’ll have an opportunity to discuss the initial findings and, when appropriate, chiropractic care will usually begin during this first appointment.
If further information is needed, our chiropractor may refer you for X-rays. These aren’t routinely recommended for everyone and will only be considered when clinically indicated.
What Happens at Your Second Visit?
Your second appointment gives us more time to go through the findings from your initial consultation and examination.
Dr Parker will explain what he found, answer your questions and discuss a proposed plan for your care, including the associated costs. Care will continue during this appointment when you will be given your second adjustment.
It’s a collaborative process. Depending on your needs, he may also discuss exercises, posture advice or other practical recommendations that you can use outside the practice.
Making Your Visits Easier
Our practice is open from 8am to 6pm on weekdays and on Saturday mornings. Free street parking is available directly outside the practice.
Private health insurance is accepted, along with eligible Medicare referrals, Department of Veterans’ Affairs arrangements, workers compensation and motor vehicle insurance claims. Major credit cards are also accepted.
If you’re using Medicare or another third-party payment arrangement, please ask our team about the requirements that apply to you.

This is simply an opportunity to talk with the chiropractor and decide whether you’d like to book a full consultation. It does not include an examination, diagnosis or treatment.
